Hillcrest Golf Course

The course was originally designed by Portland native George H. Otten, considered to be “the best landscape and golf course architect in the Pacific Northwest” at the time, who claims Hillcrest Country Club property as “the finest site for golf links and clubhouse” he had ever had the privilege to see. A 9-hole expansion by A. Vernon Macan in 1958 was succeeded by a course renovation in 1968 by Robert Muir Graves. When you arrive at Hillcrest Country Club, you can feel time slow down and stress melt away.

Purple Sage Golf Course is an excellent 18-hole municipal golf course in Caldwell, Idaho.  It has hosted several Idaho State Opens and Idaho State Amateurs.  It is well known for being in the best of shape while still being one of the most affordable courses in the area. The facility contains a driving range, putting green, plus a beer and snack bar.  It also houses a well-stocked pro shop, large banquet facilities, and hosts many tournaments throughout the year.

The 18-hole Championship Course is the longest private course in the valley, playing 7,300 yards from the tips. SpurWing is also the only private facility in the valley with a putting course and a nine-hole par-three Challenge Course.
