Dandelion Festival: Urban Biodiversity

Join Boise Parks and Recreation and City of Boise partners as we celebrate celebrate and promote urban biodiversity at the second annual Boise Dandelion Festival. This event is free and open to all ages! Attendees age 21 and over can purchase and try the special dandelion brew made with dandelion flowers picked from Boise park sites. Plus, we’ll have a dandelion root beer for sale as well. Proceeds benefit City of Good. Thank you to our brewing partner Woodland Empire for joining with us again! Refreshments/Vendors:
-A variety of beers, including our dandelion beer from Woodland Empire, beer directly from the inspiration (1 keg) on tap (for purchase)
-Dandelion root beer (for purchase)
-Dandelion Kombucha from Idaho Kombucha (for purchase)
-Dandelion Tea bags from The Vervain Collective (free)
-Vegan dandelion honey from Dandi’s Vegan Honey (for purchase)
Food: Linda’s Kitchen will be dishing up traditional Mexican fare (for purchase)
Entertainment:
-Makin’ Faces will be painting faces
-Art supplies will be available for a “Create your own yard sign” table
-Hosting an art contest with participants from Boise School District Green Teams
-Scott Knickerbocker will be performing from 12-2 p.m.
