Boise New Home Construction
The Treasure Valley housing market continues to be on fire, and there are many new homes being built in the Boise area. While homebuilders are having a hard time keeping up with the local housing demand, they’re still providing opportunities for prospective homebuyers who are willing to be patient while homes are being built.
Today, we’re providing updates on some of the existing subdivisions and will introduce them. We will explore some of the new communities in development and will be looking for new home buyers soon.

Boise New Construction
Boulder Point
Boulder Point is a new home community in the coveted northeast Boise foothills. The subdivision features generously sized lots ranging from ¼ acre to one full acre in size and feature breathtaking views of the downtown Boise skyline, Boise River, and foothills. The neighborhood features a resort-style swimming pool with convenient access to hiking and biking paths and local parks.
Homes are under construction and should be available for purchase later this year.
Barber Vista
Another community in development that sits in the Barber Valley at the base of the northeast Boise foothills is Barber Vista.
Barber Vista provides the finest in east Boise living, with the 51 homesites delivering sweeping panoramic views of the Boise foothills and surrounding valley. Barber Vista has expertly designed lots that feature homes with modern urban architecture. The uniqueness and serenity of the location cannot be topped.
The community overlooks a pond, offering an opportunity for quiet reflection. Barber Vista is also near abundant outdoor recreation, including hiking, biking, and watersports. The Barber Vista subdivision is also near popular area attractions, including Lucky Peak, Table Rock, and The Greenbelt.
We anticipate homes being available later this year.
Dry Creek Ranch
Billed as a “farm-to-table” community, Dry Creek Ranch is located on Highway 55 just north of Eagle on the way to McCall and points north. The neighborhood features a community farm, a trail system, large lots, and is equestrian friendly.
The community also boasts its commitment to sustainability, striving to be good stewards of the area’s available resources. The neighborhood also funds Idaho’s largest Wildlife Conservation Fund and has a detailed water conservation plan employing state-of-the-art technologies to limit resource consumption.
Dry Creek Ranch is under development.
Eagle New Construction
Eagle Mountain Estates
In northwest Eagle lies Eagle Mountain Estates, a new construction community that boasts large lots with amenities all family members will enjoy. Amenities include a modern clubhouse, a gorgeous pool facility, and ample green space. Featuring home designs by Asbury Construction, Biltmore Co., and Todd Campbell Custom Homes, you’re sure to find a plan to suit your specific style.
Riverwalk
Riverwalk in Eagle is the continuation of a subdivision that began development in 2015. With direct access to the Boise Greenbelt, miles of outdoor recreation are available right out the front door of community residents. The community is conveniently close to Fred Meyer, Costco, and Winco Foods.
The community features a pool and cabana as well as lots of landscaped common areas. Seven new homes are under construction and will be available in the fall of 2021.
Kuna New Construction
Valor
Valor is a new development in Kuna. This luxurious, master-planned community features homes by several of the area’s award-winning homebuilders. Valor has two separate communities: The Trilogy at Valor development is a 55+ resort community, and Reveille at Valor features non-age-restricted homesites.
The community will feature clubhouses, swimming pools, and fitness centers to serve its residents. Many of the homesites will be near the award-winning Falcon Crest Golf Club, offering 36 holes of golfing excellence as it is one of the state’s top-ranked golf destinations.
Featuring sprawling views of the Treasure Valley, Idaho’s natural beauty is on full display at Valor.
Homes are under construction, with the first phase being available later this fall.
Indian Creek Ranch
Indian Creek Ranch is another new subdivision that’s under construction in Kuna. Located just east of Meridian Road, Indian Creek Ranch features 140 homesites with views of the Owyhee Mountains. The community will have a park, playground, pool, and walking paths for residents to enjoy.
Also, the development will border the new Kuna Whitewater Park, offering water sports enthusiasts access to paddleboarding, kayaking, and more.
The community is in development with homes anticipated to start selling sometime in early 2022.
Meridian New Construction
Windsong
Windsong in Meridian is winding down construction as it is in the final phase of its 66 homes. Windsong is in Northwest Meridian and is close to award-winning schools, shopping, restaurants, and recreational pursuits.
We expect the homes that are under construction to be available late this summer or early fall.
BridgeTower West
Located in Northwest Meridian, the BridgeTower West community combines countryside living with planned convenience. Near various amenities such as Winco Foods, Costco, a plethora of restaurants, and other services, BridgeTower West is accessible.
In addition, residents of BridgeTower West enjoy several parks as well as pools and a clubhouse. There are also lots of hiking and biking paths near the development for those seeking convenient outdoor recreation. It is also minutes away from Eagle Island State Park and the freeway.
Like Windsong, construction is winding down in this community, but there are still a few homes available.
Lincoln Creek
The new Lincoln Creek community is in development, with homes expected to be available later next spring. Located at McDermott Road and McMillan Roads in northwest Meridian, the community will feature traditional front-load dwellings and rear-load homes with alley access.
We anticipate the community to have community parks, a playground, clubhouse, pool, and basketball courts.
While Lincoln Creek is in development, the amenities and home designs are subject to change.
Star New Construction
Riverstone
As you drive out to Star, another new community that is in development is Riverstone. The Riverstone community is in Star near Eagle. Phase one is currently in development, with several homes coming available for purchase in the fall.
Riverstone caters to active lifestyles providing residents with access to a private and exclusive beach club. The beachfront park allows them to boat, paddleboard, swim, or relax on the white sand beach.
The Riverstone subdivision also offers several waterfront properties for residents to enjoy.
The Last Word
Construction in the valley is very dynamic, especially with demand for housing being as high as it is. A shortage of labor and delays in getting materials and interactions with the various municipalities may change the timelines for the homes and communities under construction. Available amenities may also evolve as the building commences.
