The Men Who Fell to Earth: This space-aged Bowie revue is headed up by Stockton, CA, artist/musician Kelly Foley, who has been a fixture in the music and art scene for decades. He brings his collaborative troupe back to Boise, Idaho, for another monumental show at The Visual Arts Collective. Fresh from his appearance in the 2023 documentary “Louder Than You Think”, chronicling the life and times of the eccentric Gary Young (original drummer and producer of Stockton’s groundbreaking band Pavement), and the re-release of one of his early band’s records (Torn Boy’s on Independent Project Records), Kelly is now concentrating on his unique presentation of the music of David Bowie. Featuring musicians from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and local Boise drummer Steven Fox, Kelly has assembled these top-notch musicians to celebrate one of the most influential artists planet Earth has ever seen!
